Educational opportunities are offered for all ages at GSLC. 

- Sunday School runs from early September through early May and begins at 8:30am each Sunday.

- Adult education classes are offered periodically with topics ranging from in-depth studies exploring books of the Bible, exploration of ministry and doctrine topics, and discussion of various theologians and their writings.  Suggestions for new classes are always welcome.

Vacation Bible School has returned to GSLC
Led by staff from Fortune Lake Lutheran Camp in Crystal Falls, MI, VBS Daycamp is an amazing week of fun, worship, service, and games.

- Our FIRED UP! (Faith Ignited Response, Empowered Disciples, Unashamed Proclaimers) program includes instruction leading to a public Affirmation of Baptism and is offered for 7th, 8th, and 9th grade students.  Students gather during the school year for Wednesday Campfire's and opportunities to gather for fellowship and service projects on Sunday called Fireside Chats, along with retreats to attend throughout the year.



- Instruction is offered to 3rd grade students prior to receiving their first study Bible.

-Instruction on the sacrament of Holy Communion is offered each to child desiring to learn more about the Lord's Supper.  Children of all ages are also welcome to the table with the consent of their parents and after meeting with the pastor.

- New member classes will be offered as the need arises.  These classes are geared toward building a foundation for new members to feel comfortable participating in the faith life and mission of GSLC.


Taproom Talk - based upon Martin Luther's model of meeting students around a table of food and drink, Taproom Talk is a Men's group that meets monthly to discuss issues of faith and the bible.  All men are welcome to come and join in as they feel comfortable.

Rebekah Circle women's bible study meets monthly using the Gather magazine study as a guide.  All women are invited to join this group that meets during the evening.

Tuesday Morning Bible Study is open to everyone and meets weekly at 10am.  Various study's and topics are discussed over coffee and treats.  All are welcome.
